Jerome Segal, M.D., FACC

Jerome Segal, MD earned his BS degree from Wesleyan University, Middletown CT. He completed his medical school training at Tufts University and his residency at Harvard University's Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, MA. He next completed his Fellowship in Cardiology at Stanford University, Palo Alto, CA and his Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at Sequoia Hospital, Redwood City, CA. He went on to accept a faculty position as Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco, where he became the cardiac catheterization laboratory Director. His next academic position was that of Associate Professor and then Clinical Professor of Medicine at George Washington University, Washington, D.C. where he acted as Director of the cardiac catheterization laboratories for over 10 years. He is the inventor of a number of  devices used in interventional cardiology and holds over 20 U.S. patents for medical devices. He is also a widely published author of medical research and has lectured worldwide in the fields of cardiology and cardiovascular disease.

Dr. Segal is Board Certified by the ABIM in the specialties of Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology. He holds medical staff privileges at Anne Arundel Medical Center and George Washington University where he holds a faculty appointment as Clinical Professor of Medicine.

Jerry is an avid boater and lives with is wife in Annapolis where he enjoys the Chesapeake Bay. He has three grown children, Jeffrey, Daniel and Erica.
